Walkie Talkie Building
The Sky Garden is located on the top floor of the Walkie Talkie building. The tower itself is an icon in the City of London. It is most well known for causing sunlight to be deflected onto the pavement when the building first completed in 2010, leading to very high temperatures and even managed to melt parked cars. Someone even managed to fry an egg with the heat!
Located in the heart of the city’s financial district, the building stands 160 meters tall and offers a striking contrast to the more traditional architecture surrounding it.

Top Tips
Be sure to book as soon as tickets get released. Popular time slots (e.g. just before sunset) get snapped up very quickly
Get to the building around 15-30 minutes ahead of the booked time, as there will be a queue

Sky Garden
The Sky Garden is located at the top of the Walkie Talkie building, offering a unique and elevated experience where nature meets breathtaking city views.
It spans three floors and this indoor garden is filled with a variety of lush greenery, including tropical plants and shrubs, creating a serene atmosphere high above the bustling streets of the city.
The garden's glass walls offer panoramic, 360-degree views of London’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Shard, Tower Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral, making it a perfect spot for both sightseeing and relaxation.
When the weather is nice, there is an outdoor terrace on the South side, where you can pop out to enjoy unrestricted views of the River Thames. This is the most popular location for photos, as you will be able to capture the Shard and South Bank in the background.
If you're feeling peckish, the Sky Garden features excellent dining options, from casual cafes to upscale restaurants. Be sure to book a table in advance. There is something to suit every taste, all while surrounded by one of London’s most striking interiors.
Open to the public and free to visit with a reservation, the Sky Garden has become a must-see destination, offering a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city’s financial district.
